Twine

Between September 2021 and July 2022, I produced the initial R&D of Selina Thompson’s new play, Twine.

Selina Thompson Ltd are arguably the UK’s leading Black and Disability led company. I worked alongside Selina Thompson to develop a creative process and partnerships for her next mid-scale theatre production.

I developed new and existing relationships with venues including The Yard, Nottingham Playhouse, Cambridge Junction, Theatre in the Mill and Live, raising a total project budget of £121k including £88k from Arts Council England and commission.

I secured an additional International Collaborations grant for £50k to carry out research in Germany and Ireland.
