In March 2020, we were booking dates for a tour of stage play called Seeds of Hope. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel so instead we chose to use the material we had to adapt it into a podcast series.
Seeds is a podcast series based on the incredible true story of the world’s first seed bank. Established in St Petersburg in 1921 by Nikolai Vavilov, it contained vital samples of crops and plants from all over the world to guard against famine and preserve the future of biodiversity.
