Birmingham Repertory Theatre

I worked in the Arts Team at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 2013 until 2015. During the time I spent there, I worked on a varied scope of productions that were produced in house as well as visiting shows that were programmed into their three stage spaces.

I produced their artist development programme, the Foundry, including their end of year showcase. This is where I really found my love for working on new works and supporting emerging artists.

I booked community tours of their small-scale produced shows by artists including Kae Tempest; supported the acquisition of rights for shows including The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, adapted by Bryony Lavery; supported the west end transfers of shows such as 12 Angry Men (2013); managed the unsolicited script programme; and coordinated casting for all small-scale shows and readings as well as some larger shows including Of Mice and Men (2014).
